Component Video의 Y(휘도), Pb(청색), Pr(적색)이 아니라, 빛의 삼원색인 Red , Green, Blue를 조합해서 색상을 표현하고, R, G, B, H-syne(수평주파수), V-sync(수직주파수)의 신호를 보냄. 일반적인 PC의 15 Pin D-sub 단자(DE15ConnectorPinout)가 사용된다.
